Product Description
With eight amazing colors, a new curved design, and great new features, iPod nano rocks like never before. The Genius Playlist feature finds the songs in your music library that go great together and makes a playlist for you. With its built-in accelerometer, iPod nano is made to move. Give it a shake, and it shuffles to a different song in your library. Turn it on its side to flip through your album art in Cover Flow. And tilt, move, and play accelerometer-inspired games (games available separately). Watching movies, TV shows, and video is even more fun on the sharp 2-inch screen. And your photos (up to 14,000 of them) look great in portrait or landscape view. Available in 8 GB and 16 GB models, the 16 GB iPod nano puts up to 4,000 songs or 16 hours of video in your pocket.

"not an apple fanboy, but love the ipod" 2010-06-10

after going through a long list of MP3 players, i finally caved into the oh so hip iPod. well i was pleasantly surprised. i have now had several(ipod photo, old nano, and now this one. I wanted the 16GB version, as i have so many play lists, that i can't get tired of the music on here. i am a bit rough on things, but this thing seems to handle what i throw at it.
"Overpriced and not nearly as good as others. . ." 2010-06-08

I had a creative zen 16 gb bought for $160 before it was stolen, then I decided to try an ipod. I was SOOOO disappointed. . . the features are severely lacking, syncing to my computer is way more complicated than my old mp3 player, and the screen size sucks for watching video. Basically what you are paying for is the apple logo, the pretty color of the player, and the small size. If that's all you care about, buy this! But it's still way overpriced.
"In love with my purple music machine!" 2010-06-02

This is my first iPod, although I have had other MP3 Players. I have to say one of the best qualities about this item is how user friendly not only the device is but also iTunes. My mother-in-law also has an iPod and she is even able to use it without any difficulties. I tote this thing everywhere! It has not been in a protective case so the purple paint has chipped away on the sides which is not ideal and it has a few indentations. I think the older generations of classic iPods held their appearance better when it was more plastic in front and metal on the back. I do not really care for the shuffle mode. Sometimes if I just slightly move my iPod it will shuffle to the next song. This is not a feature I would like in the coming generations. So far I have not had any problems with battery life like others. I think next time I will go for a bigger classic iPod. I prefer the space, I have used just about all the memory in my 8GB. I also like the bigger ones for the size and weight. Although my Nano fits in my pocket and hand just fine there is something about it's size. It's just to small and light weight for my likings. Overall I would recommend this product or any of the Apple iPods to anyone. Just not the new shuffle due to headphone ports.
"Great Item" 2010-05-31

Love my IPOD.. Only warning is that not all charges will work with this generation of Nano. For example will play in a Bose sound dock but will not charge in same unit.
